Only the finest materials, carefully selected for strength and beauty, are used to make Bernhardt furniture. Woods, marbles and veneers are natural substances which reflect grain, vein and/or color variations. These variations are inherent qualities of their species, and enhance the unique beauty of each individual pieces of furniture.  Bernhardt furniture is finished by hand, involving as many as 28 steps to completion. Due to wood variations and the human element of the hand finishing process, finishes on individual pieces are not guaranteed to match. Marble is selected to compliment the color of the furniture. All pieces vary in color and vein pattern.
